Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and budget.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and detailed layouts.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Select furniture, materials, lighting, finishes, and décor that align with the project vision.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure accurate execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Maintain knowledge of current design trends, materials, and technologies.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, accessibility, and building code standards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of materials, color theory, and spatial planning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
